Funding Opportunity Purpose | Through this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), the National Cancer Institute (NCI) intends to facilitate well planned clinical trials across the cancer prevention and control spectrum aimed at improving prevention/ interception, cancer-related health behaviors, screening, early detection, healthcare delivery, management of treatment-related symptoms, supportive care, and the long-term outcomes of cancer survivors. The information obtained using a R34 planning grant is intended to address issues that will prepare the protocol for successful implementation and completion. Development of this R34 mechanism is meant to fill a gap in cancer prevention and control trials. |
